College Credit is available through the PACC program of Saint Mary's University. College credits are offered for calculus and Introduction to Theology.

Advanced Placement is offered in Calculus, Biology, English, Music Theory, and American History.

Honors level coursework is available in English, Math, Religion, Science, Social Studies, and World Languages.

In addition to interactive SmartBoards in every classroom, two computer labs, Internet access, faculty-staffed math lab, media CENTER, career resource CENTER, tutoring resource CENTER, and learning coordinator are available to all students.

Entrance Requirements
Students must submit an application for admission and student transcripts including grades and standardized test scores. To be admitted to Hill-Murray, students must 1) have maintained a "C" average 2) have scored at or above grade level on standardized tests, and 3) be in good standing at his/her current school (no attendance or discipline issues).   Click here for more information.

Pioneer Cocurricular Activities
As part of its commitment to educate the whole person, Hill-Murray supports a full range of  athletics and cocurricular activities with emphasis on athletics, arts, and service.

Hill-Murray is a member of the Classic Suburban Conference. There are twenty-five varsity sports teams for men and women. In recent seasons, conference and region titles have been earned in football, girls' basketball, girls' golf, girls track, softball, baseball, boys and girls golf, girls swimming and diving, slalom skiing, and boys and girls hockey. In the past 5 years, Hill-Murray teams and individual athletes advanced to the Minnesota State Tournament in girls and boys basketball, girls and boys golf, girls and boys track, danceline, competitive cheerleading, and girls tennis. The boys hockey tradition is widely renowned as one of the most storied traditions in the state and the team earned its third Minnesota State Championship in 2008.  In addition, Hill-Murray athletic teams consistently earn conference and state academic titles.

The fine arts program offers a music program which includes marching, concert, stage, and pep bands, brass quintet, jazz combo, and drum line. Vocal opportunities are numerous through concert choir and Pioneer Performers, and other ensembles. The theatre program annually features five-six performances including dinner shows and a special Christmas offering. The theatre program, which consistently earns star ratings at the state one-act competition earned six Spotlight on Theatre awards in 2008 for its production of the musical, Footloose.

Service opportunities are offered through the National Honor Society, Christian Service Learning, Campus Ministry, Student Government, Peer Listeners, and Peer Ministry. Other activities include Academic Triathlon, Math Team, Science Olympiad, Omega Yearbook, Speech, Mock Trial, and the Beacon Newspaper.
