Club Mission

|
| "Crepe Fete" is a hit with students. | The mission for French Club is to promote French and francophone language and culture to the entire school community throughout the school year, and to encourage all students to increase their knowledge and appreciation of other cultures.
French Club and C.L.A.S.S. French Club promotes the school mission of C.L.A.S.S. in a variety of ways. Students are encouraged to share their talents and skills (whether academic or social) with each other through various games and activities. Each club activity promotes social development and friendship, and promotes awareness of and respect for other cultures that are not our own.
Membership French Club is open to all students, including those who are not in a French class. To participate, students do not need to actually join the club; they may simply come to the events and are always welcome to bring other friends along!
Activities French Club plans to host a minimum of 4 activities per semester. Some activities may be offered through Mission Possible, and others may be after school or on weekends or evenings. Some of our past activities include: French film nights, going out to a French restaurant for dinner, going to a French play/presentation/art expo, cooking, games, and other social activities. Planning, organizing, and participating in National French Week activities are also key components of French Club (National French Week is in mid-November, and offers students many opportunities in September, October, and November to plan the week's activities).
