The Hill-Murray Dance Team is the perfect way to blend your love of dance and movement with the experience of team competition.  The team's rigorous practice and competition schedule guarantees that your dance skills will improve.  If dance is your passion, this cocurricular activity is right for you!

The team competes in the Classic Suburban Conference against Henry Sibley, Simley, South St. Paul, North (N. St. Paul), Richfield, and Tartan high schools.  Last year the team participated in competition in High Kick and Jazz styles.  During the season of 2006-07 the Pioneers captured second and third places in each of the five conference competitions and finished fifth in Jazz and 6th (High Kick) in the tough section 4AA competition.  During the year, the team also traveled to two additional competitions, the Apple Valley Invitational and the Wayzata Invitational.

Practices
Monday-Saturday from 2:45-7:30. Length and times will be determined by winter coaches.  Possible morning practices before school depending upon availability of gym space.

Auditions

All students interested in auditioning are required to pick up a registration form in the Activities Office and return it to the Activities Office by Wednesday, April 22.
