Hill-Murray Academy for the Performing Arts
A superior program of artistic study at Hill-Murray School
One does not have to be a Hill-Murray student to enroll. We offer lessons for guitar, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, piano, percussion, violin, viola, cello, bass, voice, jazz studies, and acting master classes.
- Location: After school hours at Hill-Murray School
- Lesson length: Seven 30-minute private music lessons, once per week each quarter.
- Availability: Open to all. Academy students do not have to be a Hill-Murray student to enroll.
- Tuition: $150 per quarter. May qualify for a child credit deduction on Minnesota tax returns.
- Instructors: Professional performers and teachers.

String Chamber Ensemble
We are looking for new members! A student doesn't have to be enrolled at Hill-Murray School to join our Chamber Ensemble. Students in grades 7-12 who play violin, viola, cello, or bass are encouraged to join. Students practice once a week for an hour. The day of the week is determined by the members' schedules. The cost will be $100 per quarter and covers all music and teaching expenses for the group.
